Harris, Rosina Evelyn - age 69 years of Berwick, passed away peacefully at the Evergreen Home for Special Care in Kentville on October 24, 2013. Born in Wolfville on June 5, 1944; she was the daughter of the late Roy and Edna (Schofield) McInnis. Rosina was employed as a telephone operator for Maritime Tel and Tel for 28 years. She was well known for her tasty cooking and loved to bake cheesecakes and pies. She had a fine talent for sewing and crafting. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 48 years Gilbert Harris of Berwick; son Alan Harris of Tantallon; daughter Melissa "Missy" Watson (Kevin) of Halls Harbour; brother Blaine (Christina) McInnis of Bridgewater; sisters Christine Cress (Lester) of Annapolis Royal, Linda Wood (Elroy) of Lawrencetown and Carlene Thompson (Leonard) of New Albony; beloved and cherished grandchildren Maggie-Rose, Jillian, Gabriel and Liam; also by many many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Roy McInnis. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 12-2pm at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel, from where the funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Virginia DeAdder officiating. Donations in memory of Rosina may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Parkinsons Foundation.
