MacInnes, Clinton Clyde 1930 to 2012, Berwick, Nova Scotia, passed away May 3rd at Grand View Manner, Berwick surrounded by his family. Clinton was predeceased by his mother, Hope (Winsor); Forsyth MacInnes; Father, Clyde Liberton MacInnes and sisters Marion (in infancy); Frances Hamilton (Donald); Edith Boates (Reg) and Vera Mills (Alfred). He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Adeline (Folks), his seven children, Beth (Kevin), Kentville; David (Mary), Grand Pre; Peter (Jane) Gaspereau; Anna (Don), Burlington; John (Veronica), Truro; Sue (Andrew), Lunenburg; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He grew up in Coldbrook and Kentville, started his teaching career in Sheffield Mills, moving to Digby in 1954 where he retired as Superintendant of Schools in 1984. He was a graduate of Acadia University. Clinton was a lifelong naturalist, developing a passion for sailing later in life. Cremation has taken place under the care of Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Coldbrook. There will be a celebration of life for Clinton at St. John??s Parish Hall in Wolfville on May 9 from 2:00pm ??? 4:00pm. Donations in memory may be made to the Blomidon Naturalist Society or the Kings County Historical Society. Interment will take place at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville, under the direction of Rev. Robyn Brown-Hewitt. Condolences may be e-mailed to cmacinnes@bellaliant.net
