Taylor, Ida ??Pearl??, 73 of Granville Ferry, Annapolis Co., passed away, Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in St. John, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Ralph & Bessie (Wilkins) Sabean. Pearl worked in the fishing industry for many years & was a member in good standing of the Bridgetown Legion. She will be fondly remembered as someone who enjoyed life and will be greatly missed. Pearl is survived by her children, Cameron (Sandy) of Victoria Beach; Janet (Clyde) Barteaux of Moschelle; sisters, Gloria B. (John) Apt of Port Wade; Sandra H. (Loran) Hayden of Hillsburn; Gail F. Lewis of Yarmouth and Dawn D.(Randy) Brewer of Port Wade; brothers, Kenneth S. (Goldie) of Halifax; Glendon B. of Hillsburn; Ralph E. (Diane) of Lequille; Leroy & and Cyril both of Middleton; grandchildren, Megan (Joseph), Olivia and Brianne; stepchildren, Chris Jans, Eric Fillmore and Tara (Seth) Farr. Other then her parents, Pearl was predeceased by two brothers: Carl and Ian. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday in the Victoria Beach Baptist Church, Victoria Beach. Rev. Elizabeth Waugh officiating . Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. Interment will take place in the Garden of Peace Cemetery, Victoria Beach. Arrangements are under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook.
