Seward, Frank William, 90, of Berwick, Kings Co. passed away Tuesday, Dec.11, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kitscoty, Alberta in 1922, he was the son of the late Oliver C. & Amy (Galloway) Seward. He was a member of the Kitscoty & Berwick United Churches, where he served as steward & superintendant of the Sunday School. He was a past master of Masonic Lodge # 90, where he received his 50 year jewel in 1999; past president of the Berwick & District Lions Club, receiving , The Melvin Jones Fellow Award in 1995. Frank was an avid curler & past president of the Berwick Curling Club. He was also one of the first members of the Paragon Golf & Country Club in Kingston. Frank served in the RCAF from 1942-1945 in Bagotville, Quebec & Greenwood, N.S. as an aero mechanic. He joined the teaching staff of Kingstec Community College, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Nova Scotia teachers Union & retired Teachers Association. Frank was a member & past president (1997-1999) of Kings County Veterans Club. He is survived by his wife the former, Mildred G. Beals; son, George William, Bedford; daughter, Eve (Keith) Mosher, Cole Harbour; grand son, Dana Michael Seward, Bedford; brother, Rev. Oliver Seward, Claresholm, Alberta. He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Seal. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook. A private grave side service conducted by the Masonic Lodge will be held Saturday in Berwick Cemetery. No visitation, flowers or donations by request. On line condolences may be made through
