Levy, Earl Bernard, 83 of New Ross, Lunen. Co. passed away Saturday, Feb.16, 2013 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Ross , he was a son of the late Norman W. & Elvie B. (Mahoney) Levy. Earl was an honest, hard working farmer, who had a good sense of humor & was very easy going. He was a loving & devoted, father & family man, who loved his cattle, working in the woods & farming Christmas trees. He is survived by his wife, the former, Frances V. Reeves; children, Danny (Ellie); Sperry (Debbie); Anthony (Gail); Ritchie (Karen); Tommy (Apryl); Michael (Patty); Jodey (Aimee) all of New Ross; 12 grand children; 3 step-grand children; 1 great granddaughter; 6 step-great grandchildren; brother, Arnold (Mardell), New Ross; sisters, Verna (Ronald) Sweet, New Ross; Olive (Delbert) McDow, Kingston. Earl was predeceased by brothers, Guy, Milton & George. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 from St. Patrick??s Roman Catholic Church, New Ross. Fr. Craig Christenson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. A reception to follow the service in the Royal Canadian Legion, New Ross. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Dept. or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
