Collins, Paul Robert, 72 of New Ross, Lunenburg Co. passed away early Monday, April 08, 2013 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born at home in New Ross, he was the son of the late James & Lilla (Hiltz) Collins. During his work years, Paul pulled and shod oxen as well as hauled asphalt & gravel with his dump truck. He is survived by Carol Brown, his partner of 44 years and ???his honey??, Tanisha; brother, John (Betty); sisters, Helen Duncanson and Frances Lowe; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, LeRoy (Betty) and Ken (Joan). He was predeceased by sister, Anne; brothers, Lawrence, & Floyd; stepson, Lorne. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook. No visitation by request. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at the New Catholic Cemetery, Mill Road, New Ross. Father Craig Christenson officiating.
