O??Neill, Alice Marie, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at her home in Berwick. Born in Port Williams, she was the only child of the late Frederick and Isabelle (Blenus) Jodrie of Canning. Alice was a graduate of Canning High School and Mack Business College. After graduation she worked at Camp Hill Hospital and the Nova Scotia Light and Power in Halifax returning to the Valley with her husband Frank L. O??Neill and worked in the Berwick Post Office for twenty-six years. She was a member of the Berwick Baptist Church and Auxiliary and several senior organizations in the Valley. Alice is survived by two sons: Frank Jr. (Terri) , Coldbrook and Douglas (Huguette) , Bedford, grandchildren: Karen Young (Steven) Kitchener, Ont; Kelly O??Neill, Coldbrook; Marie O??Neill, Edmonton, Alta; Patrick O??Neill (Alicia) Happy Valley, Alta; great grandchildren: Hallina and Ashlyn Young, Kitchener, Ont; Isabelle O??Neill, Coldbrook; Liam O??Neill, Alta. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Linton O??Neill. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday both from the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating. Interment will be take place in the Habitant Cemetery, Habitant. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Berwick Baptist Church or a charity of one??s choice.
