Obituary of Wanda Isabel MacAulay

MacAulay, Wanda ???Isabel,?? 90 of Kentville passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Evergreen Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in 1921 , Isabel was the daughter of the late James Melbourne & Vera (Rafuse) Ruggles of Middle Musquodoboit. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Don) Eisener, Dartmouth; Ruth, Connecticut, USA; Beverly (Chuck) Edwards, Gaetz Brook; Sherri Ventura (Calvin Fraser), Kentville; sisters, Helen Jenkins, Kentville; Hazel (Ken) Read, Bedford; Ella Jean Costley, Three Mile Plains; brothers, Lawrence, Dundas. Ont.; Vernon (Ella) , Avonport; Allison, Freelton, Ont; five grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Isabel was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred and son, Roy; sister, Doris Power and brother, Harold. Isabel spent most of her life in the Annapolis Valley and was a member of the St. Eulalie Rebekah Lodge, Kentville. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook (Exit 14). Rev. Dr. John McNally officiating. Interment will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
