Deveau, Flora Leila, 88 of Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, formerly of Berwick passed away Saturday, September 03, 2011 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Weston, she was the daughter of the late William C. & Laura (Vaughan) Thomas. In 1945 she married Edward Deveau & they had 4 sons, Glendon (Olga), Berwick; Brian (Linda) Berwick; Bill (Abby) Calgary; Mike (Vania), Garland. Besides the surviving sons, there are 4 grandchildren, Timothy, Bill, Jim & Nicole; several great grandchildren and special cousin, Barbara Vaughan, USA. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward. Flora was an adherent of the Berwick United Church & was a former member of the United Church Women. Cremation has taken place. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. The memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9th in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook (Exit 14). Rev. Linda Winton officiating. Interment will take place in the Berwick Cemetery, Berwick. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
