Uhlman, Leslie Gerald, 49 of Evergreen Home for Special Care, formerly of Lakeville, Kings Co. passed away Monday, July 01, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, 8 years after a horrific car crash. He was the eldest son of Gerald & Pauline (Banks) Uhlman. He leaves to mourn a son, Matthew, Lakeville; a daughter, Megan, Halifax; brothers, Richard (Michelle), Woodville; Dale (Carol), Woodville; Brenton, Lakeville. Leslie loved life & especially his children. He worked in landscaping at Michelin, Waterville & at the time of his accident, he was employed at Frito Lay, New Minas. He was an avid dart player, loved fishing & playing ball. Leslie was loved by all who knew him & he will be so sadly missed especially by, Matthew his son, brothers & mom & dad. Funeral arrangements are under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside funeral & interment will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6th in the Lake View Cemetery, Lakeville. Pastor Tim Bigelow & his wife, Pastor Christina will officiate. Family & friends are welcome. Reception to follow in the Lakeville Community Centre. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Leslie may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia. She??s a special person !
