Morine, Freda Muriel, 79, of Melanson Mtn., Kings Co. passed away at home on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born in O??Leary, PEI she was a daughter of the late Seymore and Alice (Boulter) Boulter. Freda was a member of the Gospel Hall, Avonport. She worked for years with the Stirling Fruit Farms & also at the Wolfville Nursing Home. She was a volunteer with the SPCA & WAGS & provided her own cat shelter. Freda is survived by daughter, Lorraine, Melanson Mtn.; sons: Floyd (Beverly Bent), O??Leary, PEI; Stephen, Kentville; Garland (Heather Pemberton), West Brooklyn; Elwood (Edna Jeffrey), Melanson Mtn.; 10 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy; brother, Ralph & grandchild, Leslie Boulter. Visitation will take place from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (Exit 14), Coldbrook and from where the funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Paul Kenny officiating. Interment will take place in the Gaspereau Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Gospel Hall, Avonport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Palliative Care, Canadian Red Cross or the Canadian Cancer Society.
