Lagun, Mieczyslaw (Mike) ???75 of 28 Woodland Drive, Wolfville, passed away October 24th 2009 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born October 1st 1934 in Poland he was the son of the late Wladyslaw & Maria (Szendo) Lagun. Mike immigrated to Canada in 1994. He is survived by his wife: Honorata, 1 daughter: Sylvana (Jim) Chambers of Wolfville; 1 son Artur of Long Island, New York; 3 granddaughters: Victoria, Olivia & Claudia; and 1 brother: Wladyslaw Lagun of Poland. He was predeceased by: 1 brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by family request. The funeral mass will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, October 31st 2009 from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Wolfville. Father Shawn Cahill officiating assisted by Father Valdas Valdemaras. Interment will take place at a later date in Poland. A reception will follow in the church hall. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Mike may be made to the charity of one??s choice. Arrangements have been made under the care & direction of Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook.
