Adams, Elizabeth June ???Betty??, 82 of Berwick, Kings Co. passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, January 19th 2010. Born in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Clayton & Evelyn (Borego) Johnson. Betty & her husband George were both very involved in sports. She was a member of Paragon Golf & Country Club, member & past president of the Ladies Curling Club in Berwick, member of the Sports Hall of Fame in Berwick, past member of the Greenwood Flying Club and still held her pilots license. Betty was also a past member & president of the Berwick Lions Club. She is survived by her husband, George, one daughter, Sharron Eisnor, Kentville; one son, Brian (Kate), Burlington, Kings Co.; five grandchildren: Michelle Hennigar,Ottawa, Ont.; Melyssa Hutchinson, Berwick; Peter Adams, Berwick; Kimberly Wojcik, Cold Lake, Alberta & Kris Eisnor, Vancouver, B.C.; five great grandchildren, one sister, Pauline (James) Norton, Berwick & one brother, Howard (Sharon) Johnson, North Alton. She was predeceased by one daughter, Deborah Ann Crocker & a 2 year old son, Donald. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. Coldbrook (Exit 14). Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating. Interment will take place in Berwick Cemetery, Berwick. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one??s choice.
