Obituary of Charles Skerry

Skerry, Charles Harvey, 46, of New Ross, passed away suddenly, June 25, 2005, as the result of a motor cycle accident in New Ross. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Annie "Ella" (Skerry) Leary and the late Russell Skerry. He was employed with Brison Contruction of Windsor. Charles enjoyed four wheeling, country music and socializing with his friends and watching T.V. He loved home cooked meals and especially his mother's gravy. He is survived by his mother, the former Annie "Ella" Naugler; step father, Elias Leary; brothers: Russell Jr. (Betty) Skerry, New Ross; George (Dianne) Skerry, Ottawa; Edison (Anna) Skerry, New Ross; sister, Virginia (Michael) Rafuse, New Ross; nieces and nephews: Wayne and Pattie, Jeff and Wanda, Edison Jr. and Tanya, Christian and Adam and 7 grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Russell Skerry. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005, from Christ Church Anglican, New Ross. The Rev. Leonard Bednar officiating. Burial will be in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery. No visitation by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department.
