Swindell, Malby "Paul", 87, of 795 Windermere Road, South Berwick, passed away Monday, September 18, 2006 in the Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Burlington, Kings Co., he was a son of the late Harvey and Ina (Swindell) Swindell. Paul was a farmer and really enjoyed his cattle. He was very willing to lend a helping hand in his community and the surrounding areas. Paul was a real role model for his grandson, Art. He is survived by his wife, Reta; daughter, Phyllis Swindell, Waterville, son, John, Berwick and a grandson, Art; brothers: Warren, Burlington; Willis (Florence) Woodlawn, N.S; sisters: Dorothy (Donald) Hudgins, Harmony; Beulah Best, Weston. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronal; sister in infancy and brother in law, Donald Best. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook (Exit 14) and from where funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. Pastor Frank Hudgins officiating. Interment will be in the Burlington Cemetery. Family flowers only by request.
