Obituary of Lettie Walker

Walker, Lettie Belle, 97, of New Ross passed away Friday, October 13, 2006, at the Wolfville Nursing Home, Wolfville. Born in New Ross, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Eva (Hennigar) Gates. Lettie was a member of the New Ross United Baptist Church and loved to go fishing. She is survived by daughter: Carlon (Leo) Davison, New Minas; step daughters: Marie Walker, New Ross and Grace Walker, Mississauga, Ont.; granddaughter, Donna (Rick) Acker, Kingston, N.S.; grandsons: Glendon Davison, New Minas, Darrell (Susan) Davison, Gaspereau; great granddaughter, Amber Davison; great grandsons: Adam and Andrew Acker, Ryan and Evan Davison and Brycen Davison; sisters: Eileen Rafuse, Alberta Redden, Pauline Smith and Beulah Doherty all of New Minas and Dorothy MacKenzie, Wolfville. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Willis Zwicker; 2nd husband Harry Walker; sisters: Frances Gates and infant sister Lethia; brothers: John and Foster Gates. The late Lettie Belle Walker rested at the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive (Exit 14), Coldbrook where visitation was held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 15th . Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday (today) from the New Ross United Baptist Church. Rev. David Hine officiating. Interment will be in the Gaspereau Cemetery. Family flowers only by request.
