Dienes, Tessa, 85, of Wolfville, Kings Co., beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away gently on October 17, 2006 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. She is survived by Zoltan Dienes, her devoted husband of 68 years; by her children, Corin Jasmine Dienes with her husband Robert (East Grinstead, England), Jancis Dienes (Clearwater, FL), Sarah Dienes (Wolfville, N.S.) and Bruce Dienes with his wife Gwenyth (Canaan, N.S.); by her grandchildren, Zoltan, Raj, Rilka, Ramana, Daniel, Tom, Dan, Rachelle, David, Jamie and Mandy; and eleven great grandchildren. Tessa, to her great sorrow, was predeceased by her son, Nigel and two dear grandchildren, Bruce and Russell.Tessa was born in London, England, on November 18, 1920. It was there, when she was merely ten years old, that she met the charming fourteen year old Hungarian named Zoltan. Their life together took them through Europe, Australia, South America, the United States and Canada. Tessa had found faith in Jesus and was a deeply spiritual woman who was very moved by life. She loved children, poetry, dance and all things beautiful. Close friends and family all over the world will miss her dearly. A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 21st at the Wolfville United Baptist Church. The Rev. Barry Morrison and members of the Annapolis Valley Quaker Meeting will lead the service. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall. All are welcome to attend. Interment will be a private ceremony at Willowbank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tessa will be accepted by the Wolfville Area Inter-church Council, earmarked for the Food Relief Program.
