PITTS RICHARD WESLEY It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of our beloved husband, father, grandfather; great grandfather Richard Wesley Pitts Born April 15th 1933, age 71 of Lockhartville he was the son of the late Ernest and Bessie (Walsh) Pitts of Lockhartville. He was an employee of the Minas Basin Pulp and Power Ltd. For 45 years until his retirement. Richard loved fishing and the outdoors, sharing time, hugs and memories with his many friends and loving family He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary (Wasson) Pitts Daughters Bonnie (Dale) Vaughan; Lockhartville, Mandy (Orville) Greenland, Avonport; Tammy (Michael) Caldwell, Lockhartville Sons David (Susan) Pitts, Lockhartville; Richard (Colleen) Pitts, Ben Jackson Rd. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 brothers and seven sisters. He was pre deceased by a brother and one sister Cremation has taken place, no visitation by request and a memorial service celebrating Richard?¢s life will be held Thursday May 13th 2004 at 2 PM from St. Andrews Anglican Church Hantsport. Rev. Michael Boyd will officiate with a private family interment in the Bishopville Cemetery. A Reception will follow the funeral service, all are invited. Family flowers only by request; donations in memory may be made to St. Andrews Church Building Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Cremation & Funeral Specialists Inc.
