Murray, Jessie Blanche, 88, of Clementsport, Annapolis Co. formerly of Hantsport passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Centre Burlington, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Fred and Laura (Roach) Beattie. Jessie was a very talented musician, especially in piano and was a long time choir member and organist of the Hantsport United Church. Jessie was also an accomplished rug hooker. Surviving her are sons: Danny (Bev) of Hantsport, John of Clementsport, five grandchildren: Kim (Adam), Dawn (Steve), Kiersten, Trevor and Clayton, sisters: Frances Sweeting, North Carolina, Doris Anderson, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. (Exit 14). A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Centre Burlington Cemetery on Card Beach Rd. Centre Burlington, Hants Co.. Rev. Ron Frampton officiating. Family flowers only by request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home or to a charity of choice.
