MacDonald, Irma Ruth, 80, of Middleton Anna. Co. passed away Friday, March 02, 2007 at home. Born in Sanford, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Leverett & Anna Faye (Shaw) Coker. Irma has been a born again Christian since 1960. She was very protective and loving of her family and passed on her strengths and values to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irma had great faith and believed that God protected her and her family and she was comforted in the belief that when she passed on she would be loved and taken care of eternally. She was not afraid and this gives her family great strength. She lived in Toronto for nearly 40 years, having worked for some 20 years of that time. Irma is survived by daughters; Bonnie Amero, Berwick; Margaret Duval (Lionel French), Whitby, Ont.; son, Charles (Joyce), Berwick; grandchildren: Heather (Glendon) Miller; Allison Amero; Jason (Theresa) Amero; Melissa (Neison) Bard; Stephen (Kelley) MacDonald; Craig MacDonald; Michelle and Johnny Duval; brother, Harold (Connie) Coker, Whitby, Ont. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday and the funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6th 2007 both in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (Exit 14) Coldbrook. Rev. Elizabeth Johnson officiating. Interment will take place in Black Rock Cemetery, Black Rock. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
