Kelly, Gordon Cyril - 81, Hortonville, Kings Co., passed away November 8, 2007, at home. Born in Grand Pre, Gordon was a son of the late Robert and Bessie (King) Kelly. Gordon worked at Minas Woodworkers and later at ACA Cooperative until retirement. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice (Nisbet) Kelly; daughters: Isabelle (Wayne) Kelley of Avonport; Joy (Brian) Myrah of New Minas; sons: Rick of Avonport and Terry of Halifax; sister, Helen Lupton of Ontario and brother, Malcolm Kelly of Grand Pre; grandchildren: Shaun and Melissa Kelley; Sara, Jillian and Scott Kelly; Dale Myrah. He was predeceased by sister, Jessie Guptill; brothers: Robert, Walter, Brenton, Waldon, Victor and Roy. The late Gordon Kelly is resting at the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook (Exit 14). No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m.Saturday, November 10, 2007 in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Private burial will be in the Lower Horton Cemetery, Hortonville. A reception will follow at Grand Pre Park Visitors Centre, 2205 Grand Pre Rd., Grand Pre. Family flowers only.
