Obituary of Ruth Davison

Davison, Ruth Alice, it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ruth Alice (Murphy) Davison, 55 at home in Kingsport, Kings Co. on December 9, 2007. Born in Windsor, Ont. on February 11, 1952, she was the only daughter of the late Mervyn & Katherine (Treacy) Murphy. She is survived by her loving husband, Glen; brother, Paul; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Murphy, Windsor Ont.. Also her mother and father-in-law, Madge & Vernon Davison, Port Williams,. She will be sadly missed by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews, friends & co-workers and "Taboo" her special furry friend. Ruth was employed by the Valley Regional Hospital for the past 15 years. The many things that brought joy to Ruth??s life were family gatherings, love of animals, especially cats & birds, and spending time with her friends. Her warm hugs and laughter were her treasured gifts to us all. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (Exit 14), Coldbrook. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 13 in the Emmanuel United Church, Kingsport. Rev. David Hewitt & Rev. Fran Woodside officiating. A reception to follow in the Church Hall.
