Deveau, Edward Joseph, 81 of Berwick, Kings Co. passed away on May 6, 2008 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Salmon River, Digby Co., he was the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Jedrey) Deveau. He worked for many years with Berwick Bakery and retired as a shipper from Larsen??s Meat Packers. Ed is survived by his wife, Flora; 3 sons: Glenn, Kentville; Brian, Berwick and William, Edmonton, AB; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.; 3 sisters: Estelle, Anna and Evelyn; 4 brothers: Ulysse, Martin, Reuben and Joseph. He was predeceased by a sister, Emma Babin and brothers: Everett and Bernard. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. Coldbrook.No visitation by family request. A private family graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Berwick Cemetery, Berwick. Rev. Ray Francis officiating, assisted by Les Goossen.
