Obituary of Herbert Joseph Comeau

Comeau, Herbert Joseph – age 82 years of Bloomfield, Digby County, passed away November 9th, 2013 at the Yarmouth Hospital. Born in Bloomfield on December 10th, 1930 to the late Joseph (Josie) Comeau and Elizabeth (Lizzie) (Thibault) Comeau. Herb was a weir fisherman and a carpenter most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Joyce (Waterman) Comeau; daughters Holly Comeau, Sherry (Randy) Clevette both of North Vancouver and Robyn (Robert) Graham of Marshalltown; step-son Wade (Karen) Winacott of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador; step-daughters Donna (Jack) Simms of Bloomfield and Kim Winacott of Digby; brother Frank (Connie) Comeau of Hillgrove; sisters Annie Hutchinson of Digby, Marguerite Mazier of St. Rose, Manitoba, Muriel Wilson of Digby and Elaine Thibault of Marshalltown; grandchildren Katherine Theriault, Russell Thibodeau, Eric, Ryan and Owen Winacott, Morgan and Elizabeth Graham; also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Evelyn and brother Clarence. In keeping with Herb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2pm from the Digby East Fish and Game Lodge, Ridge Road with Pastor Chuck Daniels officiating.
