Vinton, Margaret Peggy - age 90 - It is with deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, at Grandview Manor in Berwick, on November 12, 2013. Born in England on June 20, 1923,she immigrated to Canada in 1957, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Battersby. Peggy is survived by eldest son George James(Sandra), Medicine Hat, AB; only daughter, Claire Denise Matheson(Stewart), Greenwood, NS; youngest son, Steven Christopher, Winsor Junction, NS; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, George and son Brian John. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
