Obituary of Elizabeth G Parker

PARKER, Elizabeth "Betty" Gulliver, 87 of Tideview Terrace, Digby, passed away peacefully November 13, 2013 in the home. Betty was born in Annapolis Royal on September 26, 1926 to the late Frederick and Marguerite(Whitty) Parker. Betty enjoyed her family,as well as family gatherings, knitting, music,and sewing. Even with Betty's physical disabilities she worked as a streamstress for Claude W. Vincent Tailoring. Betty will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by sisters Bernice Everett and June Mapes both of Ontario, many nieces, nephews; great nieces and and great nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters Mary ,Mildred and Marguerite; and brothers Garfield and Richard. There will be no visitation by family request. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Saturday November 16 2013, in the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Digby. Father Henri Smolenaars officiating . Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Plympton. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Tideview Terrace, Digby. Heartfelt thanks go out to all the wonderful dedicated staff that made Tideview, Betty's home for the past 29 years.
