Page, John David (Johnny) - 54 of Marshalltown, born R.C.A.F Air Station Bagotville, Quebec, December 26, 1958 passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital November 15, 2013. Survived by brothers Clayton (Tommy) Sweatland (Eileen), ON; Michael, AB; Cameron (Pat), Kingston; Robert, Marshalltown, sister Laura (Joey), Marshalltown, niece Erin (Shawn), Cole Harbour; nephews Jason (Laura), Acaicaville; Nat (Meagan), Weymouth; Alan, Halifax; Bryan, Weymouth. John was predeceased by his father John Kirkwood (Kirk) Page of Toronto and Marshalltown and his Mother Jean Elizabeth (Sibbley) Page of Marshalltown and brother-in-law Gary Melanson. John was a truck driver for many years and worked for many different trucking companies throughout Nova Scotia and Ontario. A long standing member of the Nights of Columbus, an avid reader, and he loved to watch movies, play board and card games. Johnny really liked hunting with Biff. Born in Quebec he spent 5 years 1962 - 1967 at RCAF Air Station Goose Bay, Labrador, and then he moved to the Digby area where he spent the rest of his childhood. Johnny worked for KFC in his early years before going into the transport industry he was a terminal manager for Polestar, and store manager at KFC. John had no children but was married to Karen Moulaison of Yarmouth (separated). We would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of the QEII on ICU 5th floor and MICU 3rd floor also the 3rd floor ICU Yarmouth Regional Hospital. To all our family and friends for the support you have extended to us during Johns illness and after. Keeping with Johnnys wishes, cremation has taken place and a reception for Johnny will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 20 in Digby on Saturday November 23, 2013 from 1pm - 4pm, downstairs. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca). On line condolences may be made by visiting www.serenitylindsayfuneralhome.ca.
