Millett, Geraldine Elizabeth age 86 years of Kentville, passed away at home on December 3, 2013 with her husband Earl by her side.
Born in Canning on March 31, 1927; she was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Charles Bennett.
Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 35 years Earl Millett; sons Kelvin Ward of Cambridge, Gary Ward and his wife Lorraine of Greenwood, Gerald Ward of Aylesford and daughter Connie Ward of Centreville; brother Harold Bennett of Pictou; sister Muriel Kempton of Ontario and sister in law Lulu Bennett of Steam Mill. Also survived by many grand and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many other extended family members and friends.
Predeceased by her daughter in law Natalie Ward; twin sister Madeline Mapplebeck and brother Earl Bennett.
Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, she loved listening to country and gospel music. She spent many fun times with Earl, especially enjoying their car rides and when they would go fishing.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 7-9pm at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook Chapel (34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive); from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6 at 11am with Rev. Kevin Carter officiating. Interment to take place at the Hillaton Cemetery.
