Tupper, John William - age 84 years of Evergreen Nursing Home in Kentville and formerly of Scotts Bay, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2013. Born in Scotts Bay on May 3, 1929; he was the son of the late Wylie and Bessie (Hiltz) Tupper. John enjoyed driving the school bus in Canning for 25 years. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons Arlie (Sherry) and Christopher (Linda); stepdaughter Brenda Huntley all of Scotts Bay; sister Frances Dykens of Kentville; grandchildren Denice, Nicholas, Kyle and Tyler; great grandson Tristin. Predeceased by his loving wife Hazel; sisters Ruby Illsley and Kathleen Tupper; stepson in law Lawrence Huntley. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held in the spring at the Scotts Bay cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the Evergreen Nursing Home or the Scotts Bay Cemetery Fund.
