Kinsman, Marjorie October 23, 1919 December 26, 2013 - With the serenity and dignity reflective of the way she lived her life, Marjorie passed away in the early hours of December 26th. Predeceased by her lifelong partner William Bill, she is mourned by sons David (Audrian) and Derek (Stacy), sister Connie, grandchildren Heather, Andrea, Jordon, Carly and Evan, four great grandchildren and a large extended family, all of whom loved her and all of whom were such an integral part of her life.
Born in Birmingham, England, she fell in love with, married, and came to Canada to spend her life with Bill, the RCAF pilot who swept her off her feet. The city girl from England adapted to life in the Annapolis Valley and quickly became a respected and beloved member of the extended Kinsman family. A devoted wife, an irrepressibly loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a genuine supporter of the entire family and an unselfish contributor to her community, her deep faith, subtle humour and gentle manner were the hallmarks of her life.
The immediate family would like to express their appreciation to all those who have supported Mom over the years. Particular appreciation is extended to Cathy Stewart in whose home Mom enjoyed incredible care, comfort and love for the past 10 years.
