Obituary of Joan Helen Swinamer

Swinamer, Joan Helen age 78 years of Windsor, passed away peacefully at the Hants Community Hospital on January 13, 2014.
Born in Halifax on January 11, 1936; she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Thelma (Schmeisser) Walker.
Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Wayne (Judy) of Ellershouse, Kenneth (Lisa) of Lake Echo and Timothy (Vivian) of Three Mile Plains; brothers William Walker of Dartmouth and Ronald Walker of Lantz; sisters Doris Sampson of Greenwood and Lois Gallanger of Sackville; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Douglas; brothers Harold and James.
Joan was a member of the Windsor Legion branch #9 auxiliary and the Hants County Exhibition auxiliary.
In keeping with Joans wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10am from the Maplewood Cemetery in Windsor with Fr. Tom Henderson officiating.
Reception to follow at the Three Miles Plains Hall.
