Obituary of Harvey Cabot Lewis

Lewis, Harvey Cabot – age 65 years of Aylesford, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2014 at the QEII hospital in Halifax. He was the son of Gladys (Caldwell) Lewis of Port Lorne and the late Handley Lewis. He was predeceased by his dad; half brother Winston; brothers Thomas and Arthur. Besides his mother Gladys, he is survived by his wife of 44 years Paulette (Lutz) Lewis of Aylesford; son Ricky Lewis (Kim) of Alberta; daughter Angela Skaling (Shawn) of Melvern Square; 5 grandchildren Abbigail, Carly and Samantha Skaling, Hannah and James Lewis; brothers Roy Lewis of Moncton, Allan Lewis (Joanne) of Greenwood; sisters Linda Shepherd of Advocate Harbour, Clara Lewis of Port Lorne, Evelyn McCrackin (Wayne) of Alberta; also by numerous nieces and nephews. He was employed for 34 years with Avon foods in Berwick and the last 7 years with Frito Lay in New Minas. He adored his grandchildren and was a faithful Christian and loving husband, father and grandfather. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the Aylesford Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 2pm with Pastor Clyde Lowe officiating.
