Age 80, formally of Wolfville passed away on February 12, 2014 at Adassas Respite Care Centre, Hantsport. Born on August 14, 1933 in Cornwall, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hunt and Winnifred Alguire. Melba is survived by her only son Glen Eyre of Cornwall, Ontario. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Lawrence. In keeping with Melbas wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or memorial service held. Donations made in Melbas name may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made directly to a charity of the donors choice.
