Cole, Gladys Marion age 91 years, formerly of Aylesford, passed away peacefully at the Blomidon Court long term care home on February 28, 2014.
Born in Aylesford on October 19, 1922; she was the daughter of the late Edward and Annie (Parker) Brennan.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Joan Churchill (Cole, Gates) of Canning; sons Allen (Holly) Cole of Windsor and John (Doreen) Cole of Morden; grandchildren Kimberly (Allan) MacRae, John (Misa) Gates, Dana (Cheryl) Cole and Shane (Susan) Cole; great grandchildren Grace, Joshua, Max, Taylor, Emily and Kaitlyn.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas Cole and sister Francis (Brennan) MacDonald.
Gladys enjoyed visitors and visiting family and friends.
She and her husband travelled extensively and enjoyed camping, playing cards and doing things together.
She was a member of the Aylesford Baptist Church and an adherent of the Aylesford United Church.
Visitation will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 3:30 7:00pm.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00pm from the Aylesford United Church with Rev. Brenda Nesbitt officiating.
Donations in memory of Gladys may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
