Stoddart, Bessie Viola of Berwick, It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother born March 25, 1916 in her 97th year on March 12, 2014 at the Grand View Manor, Berwick. She will be missed by her daughters, Joyce Stoddart, Ruth (Anthony) Foster, Louise (Lawrence) Freeman; son, Harley (Jo Anne) Stoddart; sisters, Helen Wilson, Marie Carver, Janice (Robert) Dunn, Carolyn (William) Schrage, Marina (Charles) Hudson; brothers, Carlton Lutz, Hardy (Jessie) Lutz, Ronald Lutz, Robert (Maureen) Lutz; many grand, great and great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Azie and Florence (Palmer) Lutz, she was predeceased by sisters, Bertha Keddy, Carrie Carver, Doris Palmer, Margaret Palmer, Rose Boyd; brother, Whitney Lutz. She loved her family. Bessie liked to cook and play the harmonica. There will be no visitation by her request. There will be a celebration of her life at the Morristown Community Centre on Sunday March 16 from 2-4 p.m. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel (902-538-9900).
