Dykens, James E. - age 79 years of Debert. It is with heavy hearts that we announce Jim's passing on March 12, 2014. Born in Truro on May 10, 1934; he was the son of the late George and Mildred (Eagles) Dykens. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 30 years Marilyn (Eastcott); sons Ronald I. Eastcott, Wayne (Stephanie) and Terry (Mary); daughters Kathy (Henry) and Bonnie (Alan); brothers Gerry (Linda) and Owen (Audrey); sisters Karen, Marlene and Fern (Doug); many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; he will be greatly missed also by his family cat Puddle. Predeceased by his sister Ellen. In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at the Debert Legion on March 18, 2014 from 2-4pm.
