Firstly I'm sending my deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of your mom grandma & gr grandma
Wanetta was an amazing "energizer bunny" who had the largest heart of anyone I know!!!
She (& Keith) opened up their home to us and made us feel just like we belonged!
As I've gone thru my boxes and envelopes of pictures today and thinking of all of you at Wanetta's internment, I've been able to reminisce about all the happy times spent in Bear River (Sometime I'll write them all down) meeting all of you, my cousins!
Wanetta certainly knew how to bring everyone together around the family dinners twice a week. Alyssa said it was Wanetta who 1st got her interested in cooking and baking as she preferred to hang out with Wanetta in the kitchen (than with Keith & I on our cemetary searches) which I have a great picture of them holding a just made pie ready for the oven.
I've gone on here but there is so much more to say about Wanetta such a loving, giving, caring lady.
I'll just finish with one of my funny memories. Wanetta's favourite saying was "Oh Frig". She didn't say it too often except each night when she watched the Toronto BlueJays on tv, well if they were losing, then there was definitely a few "Oh Frigs" thrown the umpires way!
The last time I called Wanetta was January. We had a nice chat and as always I asked after you all. She was so proud of her family! (and before her 1st stroke we talked once a month and she always updated me on all of you. I felt like I knew all of the goings on and with my pictures from the late 1990's you will all forever be that age. I'll try to get my act together & send a few as I have a couple of nice ones of Keith & Wanetta)
I love you all and my heart is with you on your loss!
Love your Vancouver cousins,
Vicki Weiland & Alyssa Seney
