Dean, George Anthony (Tony), Age 51 of Kentville passed away suddenly on May 12, 2014 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Tony was the son of Everett and Loretta Dean, born on October 29, 1962 in Musquodoboit. He enjoyed working on his car as a backyard mechanic while spending spare time in the great outdoors and fishing. Left with fond and loving memories are his son Michael (Desireé Rice), Kentville; step daughter Amanda, Dartmouth and their mother Nancy Dean, Halifax; sister Diane (Jack) Ferris, Dartmouth; brothers Dale (Sharon), Berwick; Kevin (Pearle), Fort Nelson, British Columbia; James, Truro; step brother, George (Betty) Graham, London, Ontario; step-grandchildren Abigail and Liam Coffe; several nieces, nephews and friends. Tony was predeceased by his parents and a brother Patrick. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 1pm – 2pm at Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley, Wolfville Chapel (568 Main Street), followed by a graveside service at 3pm in the Lakeview Cemetery with Del Church officiating. Donations in memory of Tony may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (5657 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax, NS B3J 3R4).
