Obituary of Carl James Wagner

Please share a memory of Carl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wagner, Carl James – Age 80, formerly of Plympton passed away peacefully at Tideview Terrace, Digby on May 19, 2014. Born in Plympton on February 9, 1934, Carl was the son of the late Perle and Dora (Gosson) Wagner. He worked at the Digby Pines Resort Hotel for many years doing maintenance. You would often find Carl on the beach, one of his favorite places to be, enjoying his time spent clam digging, otherwise you might have seen him a time or two at the local Tim Hortons. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Cathy (Eben) Sabean, Plympton; Yvonne (Ralph) Mullen, Digby; Pamela (Stanley) Mullen, Weymouth; Susan, Plymton; sons, Mark, Halifax; Clyde (Michelle), Greenwood; Peter (Lynette), Ashmore; sisters Geraldine Wood, Kingston; Helen (Michael) Filipchuck, Brantford, Ontario; brothers, Robert, Yarmouth; Harvey, Weymouth; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Carl was predeceased by his parents, Perle and Dora; sisters, Betty Wagner, Blanche Taylor, Nancy Pineo, Dorothy Hyson and brother, Harley Wagner. Special thanks to the Tideview staff for their excellent care and compassion. All your dedication didn’t go unnoticed and everything you did was truly appreciated. Keeping with Carl’s wishes, cremation had taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Carl may be made to Tideview Terrace (74 Pleasant St., Digby, B0V 1A0). Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapel, Coldbrook (902-679-2822). Online condolences may be made by visiting www.serenitylindsayfuneralhome.ca.
