MELANSON, Beatrice Hilda (Sullivan), 63, of Plympton, Digby Co., passed away on September 8, 2014 at the Digby General Hospital. Born on June 1, 1951 in Hassetts, NS, she is the daughter of Colonel Sullivan and the late Dorothy (Brittain) Sullivan. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Edward Jr. and her son Derek (Kim); daughter Lorie (Brian) all of Plympton. Brother John (Josephine), Hilltown; Sisters Juanita (Lovette) Digby, Maurina Haight (Hill Grove); Marion (Melvin), South Ville; Betty, North Range; Flora (Stanley), Digby; Sheila (Betty), Hassetts; Della (Larry), Plympton; Wanda Gaudette, Southville; Grandchildren: Kyle, Bradley, Savannah Melanson and Ryan Robichaeau. Great Grandson Bentley Melanson. Beatrice was predeceased by brothers Freeman Brittain, Oakley, Stanley and Tony Sullivan, sister Judy Sullivan. Beatrice enjoyed singing at many benefits and fundraisers at the Havelock Community Centre. At Beatrice wishes cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 12th at 2:00pm at the Plympton Catholic Holy Cross Cemetery with Father Henry Smolenaars officiating.
