Richardson, Bertram James “Howlett” – 78, Berwick, passed away Sept. 19, 2014 in SMH, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Henry and Marion (Crisp) Richardson. He was employed with Berwick Bakery for 31 years and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ortona #69 for the majority of his life. Bert loved cooking, gardening and dancing. He liked hockey and loved softball. He was on the team Berwick Legionaires, 1961 Maritime Softball Champions, Intermediate “C” and 1963 Maritime Senior “B” Softball Champions. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Beverley (Lonergan) Richardson; sons, Robert (Vicky), LeDuc, AB; Bruce, Halifax; Shawn (Kat MacIsaac), Berwick; daughters, Tabatha (Tim Lutz), Berwick; Serena (Wendy Spencer), Auburn; Kelly Ann (Michael Hamilton), Harbourville; grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Jamie, Adrina, Cody, Justin-Corey, Dominique, Andrew, Riley, Ty, Trent, Brea and great granddaughters, Georgia May and Willow; brother, Henry (Eris) Richardson, Hammonds Plains; sister Lillian (Wilfred Morton) Creemer, Scarborough, ON and half sister, Edna Adams, Steam Mill. Predeceased by half sister, Clara and brother, William in infancy. Visitation 7-9p.m., Sept. 26, Christ Church Hall, Berwick and funeral services Christ Church, Berwick 2 p.m., Sept. 27 with Rev’d Ruby Carter officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to Christ Anglican Church, Berwick.
