Weagle (MacDonald), Bertha Agnes 99 of Wolfville formerly of Lantz, passed away peacefully Wednesday October 15th, 2014 in Wolfville Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the past 10 years. Bertha was born July 18, 1915 in Oldham, Hants Co., to the late William and Deborah (Dodds) MacDonald. She was the last surviving member of her family. Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Weagle; sisters, Gertrude and Mabel; brothers, Victor and Alfred. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday October 17th at Saint Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Enfield. Father Michael Walsh officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Special thanks to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Wolfville Chapel (902-542-4656). The family also wishes to thank the staff of Wolfville Nursing Home for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
