Obituary of Gary Parker

Parker, Gary St. Clair – age 70 years of Berwick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 25, 2014. Gary was employed by Annapolis Valley Peat Bog for 52 years. He had a love for the New York Yankees and the Boston Bruins, he was also an avid lob ball player and bowler. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Brenda (Graves); daughters Peteena (Darrin) Salsman of Waterville, Kathy (Bobby) Eldridge of New Minas, Beverly (Wade) Schofield of Berwick, Theresa (Brad) Eldridge of New Glasgow, Candice (Erick) Diaz of Red Deer, Alta; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers Dale (Lynne) Parker of Greenwood, Anthony (Andrea) Parker of Mt. Uniacke, Vance (Anne) Parker of Berwick and sister Cindy (Lonnie) Power of New Ross; also by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents St. Clair and Geraldine (Coulter) Parker; sister Brenda (Donnie) Connors. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel; from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 2pm with Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Interment to take place in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donation in memory of Gary made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the VON, Annapolis Valley Branch would be appreciated by his family.
