Hazel Westcott
Age 86 of Digby NS., passed away peacefully on December 4, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on July 18, 1928 to the late Violet (Jensen) & Elmer Gidney.She is survived by brother, Earl Gidney, Victoria BC; Sister, Jean Horner, Digby NS; Sons, Elmer(Sherry), Digby; Andrew(Christy), Australia; Timothy(Betty), Digby; Daughter, Lori (Sidney), Digby and Daughter-In-Law, Maureen, Alberta; Grandchildren; Reagan, Selene, Brenda, Mary-Ann, Bethany, Matthew, Nicole & Samual; Great Grandchildren; Kelsey, Alex, Hannah, Matthew, Emma, Jacob, Bella; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by first Husband Robert Winchester, son Stewart Winchester; second Husband Sidney Westcott; Sister Clara Morehouse; Brothers Roy Gidney; Seymour Gidney. Cremation has taken place under the care of Serenity Funeral Home with funeral service 2pm on Wednesday December 10 at Digby United Baptist Church with Rev Jeff White officiating. Interment will be held at a later date with immediate family.
