Rawding, Merrill Paul age 53 of West Dalhousie. It is with great sadness in their hearts that the family announce his passing on December 24, 2014 at the QEII Infirmary, Halifax.
Born on February 6, 1961 in Halifax; he was a son of Lincoln and Isabel (Olmstead) Rawding.
Merrill was employed in construction all of his working life and there was never a job that he turned down or ever refused to work.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Kathy; daughter Kelsey (Shane) and son Keegan all of West Dalhousie. Merrills children were by far his greatest love.
He is also survived by his parents Lincoln and Isabel Rawding of Maitland Bridge; brothers Wayne (Barb) of Maitland Bridge and Charlie of Hemford Forrest; sister Debbie (Donald) of Smith Road, Nineveh; sister-in-law Alison Rawding; also by many nieces and nephews.
Merrill had soft spot for his animals and will be sadly missed by his four legged children Foxy, Budbud, Capersand and grand dogs Bear and Bailey.
Predeceased by his brother Terry; paternal grandparents Merule and Annie Rawding; maternal grandparents Charles and Agnes Olmstead.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a service planned for a later date.
