NAISMITH, MORA LETTY. age 97 of Ardoise, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015. Born on May 11, 1917 in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Letty (Wade) Todd, West Dalhousie. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mora is survived by daughter Sharon (Bruce) Balloch, Ardoise, NS; step-daughter Sue Lahey, Musquodoboit, NS; sons Brian (Donna) New Waterford, NS; Paul, Aurora, ON; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mora is predeceased by husband Gavin (1990); sisters Annie, Eleanor, Alice and Betty; brothers Harry, Milton, Fred, Ernest and Jack. Cremation has taken place and by request there will be no church service or visitation. Donations may be made to the SPCA as per Moras wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels (Coldbrook) (902) 679-2822.
