RHODDY, Everett Calvin, 78, Nictaux passed away peacefully at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital on March 3, 2015. Born on July 1, 1936 he was the son of the late Calvin and Jenny (Smith) Rhoddy, Annapolis County. Everett was employed as a Mechanic for 38 years. One of his hobbies was flying and has his private pilots’ license. He loved to fish and hunt, and on occasion do a little carpentry; he could make just about anything. His passion was going to Quebec to fish and camp where he and Judith would spend most of their summers. His winter passion was off to Florida where they danced and listened to country music. Leaving behind with fond and loving memories is his second wife Judith Ann (Kasaboski); daughters Lynn Rhoddy, Fort McMurray, AB; Wendy Schinnell (Rick Whitton) Fort McMurray, AB; son Anthony, Vancouver Island, BC; sister Geraldine (Williard Townsend) Nictaux, NS; brother Joe (Sheila Morse) Bloomington, NS; grandchildren Elissa Schinnell, Kristina Charlton, Koltt Rhoddy, Clint Rhoddy, Una Rhoddy, and 3 step sons Richard McKee, Terry McKee and Steven McKee. Everett was predeceased by his first wife Leah (Hart). As requested cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Everett’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels (Coldbrook), (902) 679-2822.
