Obituary of Mason Joel Davidson

Davidson, Mason Joel - 25 of Forest Hill passed away as a result of a house fire on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Born on July 1,1989 to Malcom (Terry) and Phyllis Davidson, Forest Hill. Mason enjoyed life in general, loved the outdoors, hiking, playing with bubbles, walking in the woods, the beach or just playing on a swing. His passion was being at Kings Wood Camp, Lake George; working with the children and the handicapped. Mason?s main love was his family, he loved life and everything it had to offer, he was there for you with a smile or just a hug. Mason had his belief in God, which was tested too many times, but he still kept believing. Even though Mason didn?t like getting his hands too dirty, he enjoyed his job at the Gaspereau Winery. He is survived by sister Natasha, Forest Hill; brothers Mitchell (Tiffany); Matthew (Ashley); Malcom (Clea); Marcus (Jessica); Madison; Morgan and MaGregor all of Forest Hill; nephews Liam, Austin, Rylee; nieces Sarenity, Kurstin, Emily; paternal grandparents Malcolm and Marie Davidson, Forest Hill; maternal grandmother Leta Keddy, Berwick; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mason was predeceased by maternal grandfather Harry Keddy, and uncles Steven Barnaby and Lewellyn Davidson. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-4656) where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21st, 2015. Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to help the family with funeral costs.
