VEINOTT, Cedric (Ced) Owen, 81, Lake Ramsay, New Ross, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the Valley Regional Hospital with his family at his side. Born on March 20, 1934 he was the son of the late Alvin and Naomi (Hiltz) Veinott. Cedric is survived by his loving wife Carolyn (Hiltz); sons Miles (Sandra) New Ross; Alvin (Monique) New Ross, Donald (Angie) Coldbrook; sister Loretta Neville (Kentville); six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild - all to which he was very proud of. Cedric was predeceased by brothers Leland, Ernest, and Malcolm; sisters Marjorie, Doris, Frances, Winnie, and Reta. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 12 from 2:00 to 4 p.m. at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home (New Ross Chapel). A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 13 at 11am at Christ Anglican Church, New Ross, Rev’d Judi Phillips officiating. Interment will be held at later date. Reception following the service at the New Ross Legion. Donations in Cedric memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital or a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home (New Ross Funeral Chapel) (902) 689-2961.
