Obituary of Lamont Saunders

Saunders, Lamont Russell , 80, of Black Rock passed away peacefully at the home of loving cousin, Christine Harvey on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Born on June 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Raymond Saunders and Reta (Card). Lamont is survived by six stepchildren. He was predeceased by wife, Flora (Hudgins). Lamont enjoyed his many visits to Tim Horton’s. Over the years Lamont was employed at the KRRC, DOT, and a labourer for Earl Fuller and Laurie Dunham. During his later years he helped Cindy Fuller deliver the mail which was a highlight to his day! Those that knew him knew that he was a very caring and loving person who will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever. A special thank you goes to Christine who provided care for him in his time of need and showed loving support. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
